Our Commitment to Privacy

• As a global social networking application, the Blazing Properties allows you to share information about yourself with us, Blazing's service providers who help us provide our Properties, and other Blazing users, including your precise location and information that may be deemed "sensitive" or "special category" in certain jurisdictions such as ethnicity, sex life, sexual preferences, or your self-reported health information. Our goal is to put you in control of as much of the Personal Information that you share within the Blazing Properties as possible. We recommend you read this Privacy and Cookie Policy and our Terms and Conditions of Service carefully. To support our commitment to continued transparency, in addition to regular updates to this Policy, within the Blazing Services you will see occasional pop-up privacy notices meant to help you understand what you are participating in when you choose to use certain features or services.

• By using the Blazing Properties, you are transmitting information to Blazing in the United States and its service providers (in the United States and other third countries). If you are a resident of another country, note that the United States and other third countries may not afford the same privacy protections as your country of residence.

• Permissible Age. The Blazing Properties are intended only for users who are legal adults, generally eighteen (18) years of age and older. If you are aware that a child or minor has submitted Personal Information on the Blazing Properties, please contact us by either using the in-app reporting tool or by submitting a request outside of your Blazing account , so that we can take appropriate action.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• When you use the Blazing Properties, we collect Personal Information about you, the majority of which you choose to provide. We may collect data about your interactions, use, and experiences with our Properties and receive information from third-parties.

• Personal Information You Are Required to Provide. When you set up an account, we require that you provide limited Personal Information such as email or phone number and date of birth to validate that you are an adult.

• Personal Information You Have the Option to Provide. You have a choice about what Personal Information you provide as part of your public profile ("Blazing Profile"). Personal Information which you include in your Blazing Profile is referred to as your "Profile Information" which is shared with other users of the Blazing Services (the "Blazing Community"). For example, you may choose to share location, photos and videos. Note, however, that failing to provide certain information may impact the functionality of certain Blazing Services. You may also optionally provide Personal Information to us for feedback and customer support services or when you agree to participate in surveys. Such data varies from survey to survey.

• A note on location information. We may collect your precise location ("Location") to determine your distance from other users ("Distance Information"). Sophisticated users who use the Blazing Services in an unauthorized manner, or other users who change their location while you remain in the same location, may use Distance Information to determine your exact location and may be able to determine your identity. You may choose to hide your Distance Information; however, the Blazing Services will continue to sort and display your profile based on your relative distance from other users. Accordingly, even if you choose to hide your Distance Information, others may nevertheless be able to determine your Location. You may revoke this permission and disable the location services on your device on an iPhone by going to Settings> Privacy> Location Services> Blazing; on an Android device by going to Settings> Location> Blazing> Permissions> Location; and on Blazing Web by adjusting your browser settings.

• Personal Information We Receive From Your Device When You Use The Blazing Properties. To maintain and improve the Blazing Properties, we collect Personal Information such as user activity, hardware and software information, cookies, and leverage other technologies such as web beacons, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, and log files.

• Personal Information We Receive From Third-Parties. Blazing collects limited information from third-parties. For example, we may collect Personal Information from payment processors, app usage and website tracking information partners, authentication partners (e.g., Google and Facebook), machine learning partners, and our consent management platform provider.

Profile Verification Information (Including Biometric Information)

For safety and security and to ensure you have the best possible user experience, we may require Users to verify their accounts and might ask for your phone number and, in some instances, we might also ask that you carry out photo verification. We want to make sure you are not a robot! And we also want to avoid fake Blazing accounts being created which can be used for malicious activities and cybercrime – they threaten the Blazing network and spoil things for everyone. This verification might be required by us for the prevention of fraud. You can also verify your photo on a voluntary basis (to add the blue “verified” badge to your profile).

If you choose to verify your profile photo, we will scan each photo that you submit. The scan may include the use of facial recognition technology so that we can compare the photo you submit to your profile photo, to help ensure that you are who you say you are. We do not add the verification photos to your profile. We retain the scans so that we can verify you in the future and for our record-keeping purposes until we no longer need them for such purposes or for three years after your last interaction with us, whichever occurs first. After the applicable retention period expires, we take commercially reasonable steps to permanently and securely delete the scans from our systems.

Purchases Information

If you decide to purchase any of our premium services, we will process your payment information and retain this securely for the prevention of fraud and for audit/tax purposes.

Blazing uses automated decisions to prevent fraudulent payment transactions being processed as part of its anti-fraud procedures. In order to do this, our systems check payment transactions for behavior that indicates breaches of our Terms and Conditions of Use. If a transaction meets certain criteria that demonstrate that the Terms and Conditions of Use are likely to have been breached and the transaction is likely to be fraudulent, the relevant transaction may automatically be blocked. Where a transaction is blocked, the user will be notified that their transaction cannot be processed and affected Users can contact Blazing to contest the decision.

Please note that if your account is blocked for any reason, any account(s) that you have on any other Blazing Group platforms/applications, may also be blocked as part of our anti-spam and anti-fraud procedures.

Location Information

If you have given Blazing access to your location in your device settings, when you use your mobile, we will collect information about WiFi access points as well as other location information about your longitude and latitude and may save your device’s coordinates to offer certain features to you. This information helps us identify your physical location and we may use it to personalize the App and make it easier for you to interact with other Users, by enabling the general locality information to be displayed to Users seeing your profile and showing you the profiles of other Users who are near you.

If you have given Blazing access to your location services, but wish to turn them off, you can do so by the following methods:

iPhone app — settings, privacy, location services, Blazing

Android — settings, location, Blazing, permissions, location

Device Information

We may collect information about your device when you use the App including the unique device identifier, device model, and operating system, for a number of purposes, as set out here. In addition, if you permit us to do so, the App may access your device’s address book solely in order to add someone to your contacts.

Information you give us

You choose to give us certain information when using our services. This includes:

When you create an account, you provide us with at least your login credentials, as well as some basic details necessary for the service to work, such as your gender and date of birth.

When you complete your profile, you can share with us additional information. To add certain content, like pictures or videos, you may allow us to access your camera or photo album. Some of the information you choose to provide us may be considered “special” or “sensitive” in certain jurisdictions, for example your racial or ethnic origins, sexual orientation and religious beliefs. By choosing to provide this information, you consent to our processing of that information.

If you contact our customer care team, we collect the information you give us during the interaction. Sometimes, we monitor or record these interactions for training purposes and to ensure a high quality of service.

If you ask us to communicate with or otherwise process information of other people (for example, if you ask us to send an email on your behalf to one of your friends), we collect the information about others that you give us in order to complete your request.

Of course, we also process your chats with other users as well as the content you publish, as part of the operation of the services.
